And, unlike many vacuums that run at deafening levels, the Miele is
surprisingly
quiet for such powerful unit. To ensure safe operation at all times,
the unit has a thermostat that switches off automatically if the unit
ever overheats
(due to an object being lodged in the hose or wand). The unit will turn off
when the light comes on to alert you to the problem and the unit will
resume working as soon as the lodged item is removed.
