The S514 Solaris series represents Miele's most recent vacuum cleaner
product series. This units deliver powerful performance, one of the most
advanced filtration system available, and, of course, the longevity that
is Miele's worldwide staple.
This product series is represented by three products, each providing
a solution to your specific cleaning requirement. At the canister level,
each of these three Solaris units are identical. All units contain
Miele-made powerful 1,200 watt VortexTM motor, Sealed System providing superior filtration,
and represent the world's first H.E.P.A. certified canister vacuum cleaners (certified
to EN 1822 standard using optional H.E.P.A. filter).
The differences are simply with the hose and floor tool combinations.

Solaris
The S514 Solaris comes equipped with Milele's combination floor tool.
This unit is designed for cleaning homes that have mostly smooth floors
and a variety of very low-cut area rugs and loop carpeting. Simply by
depressing a lever this versatile floor tool will release a band of bristles,
suitable to clean all smooth surfaces. Depressing the lever again will retract
the bristles allowing the unit to guide easily over the short and looped
pile carpets.

Solaris-Turbo Plus
Packed with Miele's turbobrush, the S514 Solaris-Turbo Plus vacuum
cleaner is one of the most versatile machines for cleaning smooth floor surfaces as well
as for a variety of low and medium pile carpeting. The turbobrush has
a rotating roller brush which is activated by the air being drawn through
the machine. This gentle agitation is ideal for cleaning very delicate
rugs such as imported Orientals, Persians and silk-fiber rugs. It also
provides excellent cleaning on low pile carpeting. The secondary floor tool
that comes with this unit is the Miele
parquet floor tool, which is ideal for all smooth surfaces.

Solaris-Electro Plus
When carpeting wall-to-wall carpeting of medium
or high pile, it is necessary to use a vacuum with a motorized power nozzle.
The S514 Solaris-Electro Plus is packaged with Miele's
SEB213-2 powerbrush
which provides the consistent agitation required to separate carpet
fibers and allows dirt and debris to be effectively removed. The parquet
floor tool is also included and is recommended for cleaning all smooth
surfaces.
